Q: Do you have a warranty? What does it cover?

A: Even though we thoroughly test and verify all our items before they leave our warehouse, as an extra layer of security for our customers we ensure all our products with a 30-day warranty right out of the box for any hardware defects or failings. Our warranty covers your product in the event of any hardware issue outside of your control (e.g. battery, display, optical drive, IO ports, Hard Drive, etc.) We do not cover physical damage that your item may be subject to due to environment. We also do not cover software-related issues, either stemming from incompatibilities or from malicious software. While we encourage our clients to customize their computer how they see fit, removal of our security stickers will void your warranty.

Q: I’m not sure if this is the right item for me; what is your return policy?

A: We accept returns on any item. For hardware issue returns, we will cover your shipping cost and provide you with a UPS label to print off. Just contact customer service by email at Shop@greentec.com and we will make sure that your issue is resolved. For all other returns, the customer will be responsible for shipping cost as well as an additional 10% restocking fee based on the value of the item. If you have any issues with your item within the first 30 days of purchase, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you as best we can.

Q: Where does your product come from?

A: Many of our items are off-lease units from various large corporations who are looking to upgrade their current hardware, but who also understand the impact that discarding these items into landfills may have on our environment. Greentec offers them a better solution: let us refurbish these items, give them a new purpose and keep them out of our environment. This is one small way that Greentec works towards minimizing our carbon footprint and to a brighter future.

Q: I’m looking for a certain kind of PC component. Would you have any in stock?

A: As an electronics recycler, we get hundreds of components for a multitude of desktops, laptops, tablets and other electronics every day. If you are looking for something specific that is not listed on our website, just e-mail Jason and he will let you know if we have what you’re looking for in stock.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A: For PC orders, we require at least 2 days of handling time to make any upgrades, run a series of final tests and carefully pack your item. Once it has been picked up by UPS, your order should make it to you within 2-3 days anywhere within Canada
